Manu Bhaker is an Indian sports shooter.  She was Born on 18 Feb 2002 in Goria village, Jhajjar district, Haryana, India. Manu Bhaker was on named as the flag-bearer of the Indian contingent for the 3rd Youth Olympic Games to be held in Buenos Aires from October 6-18. She represented India in the 2018 ISSF World Cup and won two gold medals, the youngest Indian to win a gold medal at the ISSF World Cup. She won the gold medal in women’s 10 m air pistol event at 2018 Commonwealth Games just at in her maiden Commonwealth Games. She is born in Goria village near Jhajjar in the Haryana. Her father, Ram Kishan Bhaker, is a chief engineer in the Merchant Navy. Until 14 Bhaker excelled in many other sports such as Huyen Langton, a Manipuri martial art, as well as boxing, tennis, and skating, winning various medals at the national games in these events

Manu Bhaker’s Gold Campaign

It was a thrilling start in the final Manu started shooting by 50.1 in the first five shots. She was followed by the Russian very closely. Bhaker maintained top seeding until her 18th shots. Manu Bhaker slipped to the second position by the 19th shot by shooting 9.1 and 10 with a score of 196.5 at the end of 20 shots. She was much patient after on and shoot 9.3 and 10.5.

In the last two shots, she added 10.1 and 10.2 to her table where the Russian scored 10.7 and 10.5 since she had a lead of 1.5 it didn’t affect her gold coast
